Gameplay Features:
- Two new agents to enforce political conversion:
- Priests (only in the Spanish and Portuguese nations) have the ability to promote feeling of opposition in the regions and incite unrest.
- Provocateurs (in the French and British nations only) have the ability to promote anti-opposition sentiment in the regions, incite unrest, decrease the time for investigation and passive spying.
- 5 new types of Guerrilla units, recruitable by all nations, skilled in battlefield stealth, and with the additional ability to deploy outside of your faction’s deployment zones: Shooters (Skirmisher Infantry), Hunters, Lancers (Lancer Cavalry ), Husares (Light Cavalry), Leader (General).
- A new Guerrilla agent for the Spanish nation: similar to a spy but with the new ability to harass enemy armies: lock them in place for one turn and cause them to wear down.
- A new and independent campaign map of the Iberian Peninsula with 32 controllable regions.
- Political alignment system that sees the French battle to increase pro-French sentiment throughout the peninsula.
- 28 new units in total, spread across the three playable nations, including the 95 British Rifles, the French Vistula
- Uhlans and the Spanish Spanish Cuirassiers.
